4th day of Discovery Week

Today we went to some kind of reserve I think, and it had one of those Prosecutors Will Be Shot signs, so we went in. =D
Mr Bisby went to look for the owners but they were out, so we just went in.

Inside we saw a garden-like place, and they were growing plants that looked like aloe vera. Behind that lay a big wooden house. AND THERE WAS A DOG.
A jet black, brown-eyed puppy, actually =)

IT WAS SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO CUUUUUUUTTTTEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
SERIOUSLY.
It came running towards us playfully and licked all of our hands (and my camera lens, multiple times) and jumped all over us. It was sooooo adorable and happy and cute and sweet and cuddly and endearing and gorgeous and LOVABLE. We honestly all fell in love with it instantly. We just couldn't part with it, and we wanted to take it with us. But we couldn't because we had to cross a river. =(

But before we could get to the waterfall we got to jungle trek for about an hour. =D
The waterfall was pretty big, with a pretty big lake (that had fish in it) and at the far end of the lake there were rapids.
We saw some guy fishing in the lake next to the Malaysian flag. We also saw dead fish in his fish trap.

I hadn't been planning to get myself wet from waist up (since I hadn't brought a towel or a change of clothes) but I went on an inflatable raft with Min Yen, Nicole and Rebecca...
and then Robyn capsized the raft. -_- Oh well LOL I got to dive after that =D But after that I didn't take anymore photos until we were out of the lake.

Ooh and there were some wicked damselflies there. Purple ones. And we ate our lunch in the water. Robyn gave me some kinda dehydrated squid thing, and it tasted ok but it left a weird smell on my fingers.

Oh and just as we left the waterfall, it started to rain. We could feel the water rising, and then Shing Tze lost one of his slippers in the rapids. It made me LOL. We had to jungle trek in the rain =D Funfunfunfun =) But poor Shing Tze had to go the whole way with only one slipper.

When we got out of the jungle, the puppy was there again =D It followed us out to the car, too. Then Mr Bisby set up a changing room in the back of his van, using a large sheet of blue waterproof canvas. We had to wait for Elias and Shing Tze to finish changing, and the puppy stayed with us the whole time. And it kept on going away into some ditch and pooping. After that Shing Tze started making it do tricks, like jumping for biscuits.

Then suddenly the land owners drove past us, and Dustin started panicking. But they didn't care that we were there. They just smiled and waved =)

I'm gonna miss Discovery Week. I can't believe tomorrow's actually the last day =O Tomorrow we're gonna spend half the day painting the ceiling of the orphanage, and then we're off for a jungle walk =D

Dustin holding a purple damselfly and Aaron peace-ing out in the background. Really like this picture, dunno why. =)
One of the many pictures I took of the absolutely adorable and utterly endearing puppy =D
